Product Description
Lightwit Photonics provides passive optical layer functions for 4-96 DWDM wavelength mux/demux, 4-18 CWDM wavelength mux/demux, optical dispersion compensation module (DCM), optical add and drop (OADMs), splitters and combiners.
For DWDM, We have TFF and AAWG type
The DWDM AAWG (Athermal Arrayed Waveguide Grating) module is a kind of passive module based on PLC (Planar Waveguide) technology, which does not need additional power supply or temperature control; Compared with traditional TFF (thin film filter) products, AAWG has the advantages of high integration, good uniformity, low PMD and low insertion loss
The channel spacing for DWDM is 1.6/0.8/0.4 nm (200GHz/100 GHz/50 GHz grid). This small channel spacing allows to transmit simultaneously much more information
